Bull honoured at 6th annual Oracle Awards

‘OneERP Manufacturing’ project scoops the ‘Jury’s choice’ prize

Early 2013, Bull took the top honours, among the 29 projects acclaimed, being awarded the prize in the ‘Jury’s Choice’ category at the sixth annual Oracle Awards for France.,

The judging panel commended the Bull’s ‘OneERP Manufacturing’ project, for the benefits is has delivered in terms of creating value for the customer, optimizing internal processes and securing the information system, as well as for “the amazing human endeavour around which a multi-disciplinary team and then an entire site has been brought together”.

“After 20 years of using  Baan and a re-engineering of our internal processes based on Lean management – we decided to further modernize our information system to better address our customers’ needs,”. “We decided to integrate all the information systems specific to the Bull Angers site to Bull’s Oracle environment to give real-time visibility of manufacturing and the supply chain. The project affects hundreds users, including some key users covering the various functions who act as the guardians of best practice in their area and for future evolutions of the system.” explained Vincent Sarracanie, Industrial and Logistics Director of Bull Angers
