Bull Poland won the biggest maintenance deal for Ministry of Finance

Posted on 01 June 2012 by Pierre Picard

Bull Poland has won another maintenance contract for the Polish Ministry of Finance. Based on the new agreement, Bull Poland will provide maintenance and support for over 200 Unix servers (Bull, SUN, Fujitsu), EMC storage and over 400 Intel-based servers (IBM, HP, Dell). The four-year deal is worth some €1.8 million.

Together with traditional maintenance services, Bull Poland will provide 500 hours of consulting services for their IT infrastructure. As a result of the new contract, the customer will now have a single point of contact for all their mission-critical servers. They will be also able to prepare themselves more effectively for upcoming migration projects. For this project, Bull Poland has signed partnership agreements with Fujitsu Poland and authorized Oracle service partner, Advatech.

This is the biggest maintenance services deal ever won in the country by Bull and the biggest maintenance deals ever announced within the Polish public sector.
