On April 22, Bull UK&I won the Green IT Magazine “Product of the Year” award with the Escala Blade Servers in London. Attended by over 200 guests, the event held on Earth Day was sponsored by the Department of Energy and Climate Change so, appropriately, the gong itself takes the form of a bonsai tree with a plaque.
Of the twenty awards that were presented, Bull had been short-listed for no less than three. This is a real acknowledgement of our commitment to Green IT and will give us an opportunity to fly the flag for our newest enterprise server, bullion, which has significant green credentials.
Bull hosted external guests from London Borough of Havering, AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment), UCISA (Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association), and EAUC (the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges) - everyone enjoyed the event.
