Optimizing server topology, improving energy efficiency and better real-time control on a day-to-day basis are at the heart of the Bio Demo Center.

Located at the heart of the Grenoble science park and capitalizing on Bull’s in-depth expertise in complex architectures, the Bio Demo Center covers the full range of infrastructure solutions that enable Data Centers to be optimized and made more eco-efficient.
The Bio Demo Center was officially opened on 21 May in Grenoble by Philippe Miltin, Vice-President of Bull’s Products and Systems Division and Michel Bracquemond, Director of the Bull Grenoble site, in the presence of Geneviève Fioraso, Member of Parliament for Isère and Gilles Dumolard, Chairman of the Grenoble Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Numerous representatives of major organizations also attended the official opening.
According to Philippe Miltin: “The Bio Demo Center confirms Bull’s expertise in enterprise infrastructures that closely combine servers running mission-critical applications and green technologies. Our aim is to demonstrate to our customers that our solutions can effectively reconcile previously irreconcilable demands for robustness, agility, availability, flexibility, power and low energy consumption. With the Bio Demo Center, Bull is continuing to implement its strategy of Data Center optimization and intelligent energy management as part of a global, sustainable vision of IT infrastructures.”
The Bio Demo Center: accessible to customers from across the continent
In the face of a huge proliferation of enterprise servers and the resulting waste of resources, the Bio Demo Center sets out the answers that Bull can offer organizations of every size. This involves resolving the critical issues they face, especially in terms of reducing the complexity and improving the reliability of their infrastructures, increasing agility, ensuring high availability and managing energy consumption.
The main aim of the Bio Demo Center is to enable customers to quantify increases in energy efficiency and carbon footprint reductions, by optimizing and updating their infrastructures. It gives customers the key elements they need to automate their Data Center operations, improve the quality of service delivered to users and implement new, enterprise Cloud computing-type architectures. With the best team of experts in Europe, the Bio Demo Center provides concrete answers and supports rapid decision-making.
