Having taken on 650 new recruits in 2009, Bull is continuing its recruitment drive in 2010.
In France, Bull is planning a similar breakdown of recruitment profiles as it followed in 2009: 50% of the roles it plans to recruit for in 2010 will be for people with over three years experience, 50% for more junior staff. Bull is essentially looking for employees specializing in IT services: developers, as well as systems engineers, consultants, project managers, infrastructure integrators, maintenance specialists… The further strengthening of its R&D teams will lead to some 40 new specialists being taken on.
As a result of the new direction which the company has been taking over a number of years in the areas of Services and Extreme Computing, Bull has the advantage of an attractive image. By way of proof, a quarter of its new recruits have come via networking and personal recommendations. The Group is also putting its faith in internal training, with 20% of new recruits already having some experience of the company when they join, mostly through apprenticeships and internships.
